Following the epic success of Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024), director Denis Villeneuve is already preparing the final chapter of the trilogy: Dune: Part 3 or Dune: Messiah, based on the second book of the saga written by Frank Herbert. The production is in development and promises to conclude Paul Atreides' journey in an intense, philosophical, and politically dark manner.

PREMISE:
Set 12 years after the events of Part Two, Dune: Messiah shows Paul as Emperor of the known universe, ruling with an iron fist after leading the jihad in the name of House Atreides. Now worshipped as a messiah, Paul will face deep moral dilemmas, political conspiracies, and disturbing visions of the future.
