Disney is bringing back one of its most beloved stories in live-action format. Moana, the 2016 success, will get a new version with real actors, set to premiere on July 10, 2026. The project promises to capture the beauty of Polynesian culture with more realism and emotion, and already has two confirmed names in the cast: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and young actress Catherine Laga'aia.
