Warner Bros.' DC Studios is completely revamping its cinematic universe, and one of the major bets is Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, a solo film about Superman's cousin that promises to present a darker, more mature, and determined version of the heroine. Scheduled for release on June 26, 2026, the film is part of the studio's new phase led by James Gunn and Peter Safran.

PREMISE:
The Supergirl film follows Kara Zor-El (Milly Alcock), a cynical version hardened by years of living alone on a fragment of Krypton, on an interstellar journey of revenge. While celebrating her birthday, she joins Ruthye and the loyal Krypto to battle the villain Krem in a cosmic adventure.
